I draw, paint and sometimes make models from both observation and my imagination - often inspired by poetry. I use a wide range of media including drawing with pen/ink, charcoal, graphite, painting with oils, acrylics and cans of spray paint - and whatever else come to hand.

Some of my more recent work has been inspired by verses from two poems - The Ancient Mariner (Coleridge) and The Lady of Shallot (Tennyson) - as well as the many, many American haikus of Jack Kerouac.
